Two ways in. Neither is a form.

The visit and the complete diagnosis — instruments on the appliance, the fault found and explained, and one price for the repair. Approve it and the $95 comes off. Decline it and nothing further is owed.

Usually not. If it is clicking, the spark module and the switch under the knob are both working, which rules out the costly parts. Far more often it is a burner cap sitting a fraction off its seat, a port ring blocked after a boil-over, or a wet igniter tip. If every burner clicks at once, or you can smell gas with nothing lit, stop and ring.

That is a capacity problem or a measurement problem, and they are separated in about fifteen minutes. On electric and dual-fuel ovens the bake element is checked for uneven glow and continuity; on gas, the igniter is timed — one glowing dull orange for more than about ninety seconds before the valve opens has aged out even though it still lights.

Most of the work does not require it — burners, igniters, controls and the oven door are all reached from the front. Where the fault genuinely is behind the appliance, the route out gets agreed with you before anything moves, which matters in the centre where kitchens sit at the back of deep, narrow plans.
